In high school we had to come up with company name for a project. I was very into stars and celestial information and one day while walking home listening to my discman Crystal Method & Filter‘s song “Trip Like I Do” (the video below) came on and bam.
I took Trip + Stars and Tripstar was born.
I did register Tripstar as a business at one point in the town I lived in, but that ran out a few years ago. So although it’s not much today it still exists in corners of the web and I still own tripstar.org (that just forwards to this site now) and that name symbolizes a great time and piece for me.
One day I may resurrect Tripstar as well if the opportunity presents itself. For now it’s just me
